How Sunport Luxury collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website, request a quote or book a ride.

Who we are

Sunport Luxury LLC ("Sunport Luxury", "we") provides chauffeured transportation across South Florida and throughout Florida, with partner service in other states. Our address is 275 SW 6th St #3404, Miami, FL 33130. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@sunportluxury.com or call +1 (786) 424-4100.

What we collect

  • Quote requests: to see a fare you give us your name, email and phone, with the trip you ask about: pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, date and time, flight or cruise details, number of passengers and bags, and the vehicle class. We keep this request even if you do not book.
  • Booking details you give us: name, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, stops, date and time, flight or cruise details, number of passengers and bags, child seat needs and special requests.
  • Contact requests: the name, email, phone, service date, service type and message you send through the contact form.
  • Website chat: your name, your phone or email, your answers to the chat’s opening questions, the messages you and our staff exchange, and the page where you started. A random code kept in your browser lets you return to your chat; we keep only a scrambled copy of it. When you leave an email, we email you our replies to your chat unless you untick that box; every such email has a link to stop them, which stops chat emails to that address for good.
  • Ride reports: when a ride ends, your chauffeur may give it a rating from 1 to 5, mark short notes such as on time or kept waiting, and add a note for our team (for example, a delayed flight or an extra stop). Only our staff see these reports; we use them to look after our customers and the quality of our service.
  • Payment information: your card is entered into a secure form provided by Stripe. Card numbers go to Stripe directly; we do not receive or store them. We see the card brand, its last four digits and country, and the results of Stripe’s fraud checks for your payment.
  • How you use the website: pages visited, the booking steps you reach, the campaign or website that brought you (for example Google Ads), and device and browser information.
  • Connection details when you request a quote: your IP address, the approximate area it points to (city, region and country, never your exact location), the internet provider or mobile carrier it belongs to, and your device and browser. We use them to understand where our customers come from and to help prevent fraud, and keep them with the quote request.

How we use it

  • To quote, book, operate and support your ride, including sharing the trip details your chauffeur needs.
  • To authorize and process payment for your booking.
  • To prevent fraud: before we confirm a booking we review the payment’s risk signals from Stripe and your history with us, and for some payments your card’s bank is asked to verify that you are the cardholder (3D Secure).
  • To send booking confirmations and service messages, and to answer your requests.
  • To follow up by email on a quote you requested, to ask once after a completed ride whether you would leave a review, and, occasionally, to tell you about our services. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect messages about a booking. We do not send marketing text messages.
  • A follow-up about a quote, or a message from our staff, may include a private link that reopens your trip on our website with your name, email and phone already filled in, so you can see the current fare and book. The link works for 7 days, or until 2 hours before the pickup if that is sooner. Your booking confirmation and trip-completed emails for a one-way ride may include a similar link to book the ride back, with your details and any child seat request filled in; it works for 60 days. We note when a link is opened. Anyone you forward it to can see those details, so please keep it to yourself.
  • To keep the website secure and to understand and improve how the website and our advertising perform.

Text messages

  • When you book, you can tick the box to receive text updates from Sunport Luxury about that booking: the confirmation, reminders before your ride, and when your chauffeur is on the way or has arrived. Message frequency varies with the booking; a round trip gets more messages than a one-way ride.
  • Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of booking. We do not send marketing text messages.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop our text messages, or HELP for help; you can also call us at +1 (786) 424-4100.
  • We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. To send text messages, we give your number only to Twilio, the provider that delivers them. If you reply to one of our texts, your reply and number are emailed to our reservations team so we can answer you. Separately, when a partner operator performs your ride, its chauffeur receives the passenger’s phone number only to contact the passenger about that ride, never for marketing.

Service providers we rely on

We share information only with providers that help us run the service, for the purposes above, and with authorities when the law requires it:

  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud screening.
  • Supabase — secure database hosting for bookings, quote requests, website chats and website content.
  • Vercel — website hosting, and privacy-friendly visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics).
  • Resend — delivery of booking, contact and chat notification emails, quote follow-ups and review requests.
  • Google — Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, reCAPTCHA spam protection, and Google Maps address search and route calculation.
  • IPinfo — tells us which internet provider or mobile carrier an IP address belongs to when you request a quote; only the IP address is shared.
  • Twilio — delivery of the booking text messages you choose to receive.
  • Partner transportation companies — when a partner operator performs your ride (see the Terms), only what the ride needs: the passenger’s name and phone number, the pickup and drop-off, the time, flight or ship details, and your requests for the ride.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep your booking in progress and your chat open, to protect forms against spam (reCAPTCHA), and to measure visits and advertising (Google Analytics and Google Ads). In regions that require consent, measurement cookies are off by default. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and limit Google’s ad personalization in Google’s Ad Settings; the booking steps still work without measurement cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Booking and payment records: 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal obligations.
  • Quote requests that did not become a booking: 2 years from your last request.
  • Website chats: 2 years from the last message.
  • Addresses that stopped chat emails or unsubscribed from quote follow-ups or review requests: kept as a scrambled code, so we never email them again.
  • Phone numbers that replied STOP to our text messages: kept so we never text them again.
  • Contact requests are sent to our inbox by email and are not stored on the website.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information. We use Google Ads measurement to see which of our ads lead to bookings; some state laws may treat this as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out of it by writing to us, as well as through the browser and Google settings above.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the state where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia or Florida), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it, except records we must keep by law; and to opt out of the sale of your information or its use for targeted advertising. To use any of these rights, write to contact@sunportluxury.com or call +1 (786) 424-4100. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and an authorized agent may ask on your behalf. We answer within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider it by replying to our answer. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and trusted providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our services are for adults 18 and older, who may book rides for minors traveling with them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will post any update here with its effective date.
